Teeth Whitening

Have you found that your smile has grown dull? Over time, it’s natural for teeth to become discolored, yet it is still a characteristic that many people are self-conscious about. Fortunately, at Walker Family Dentistry , we can help you say goodbye to unsightly stains. We offer custom made trays and take-home professional teeth whitening to help you achieve the beautiful results that you’ve been looking for. Give us a call  to learn more and schedule your professional teeth whitening to enhance the natural beauty of your smile.

Crowns

Dental crowns are one of the most common and versatile restorative solutions available today. They’re designed to cover badly injured or decayed teeth, both rebuilding what is missing and protecting what remains. Better yet, each crown is painstakingly customized to fit in well with your natural teeth and create an even bite. In most cases, the design and creation of a new dental crown will require two appointments.

Fluoride Treatments

Dental Cleaning

Undergoing thorough checkups and cleanings on a routine basis is the best way to prevent most common dental emergencies and diseases. During your one-on-one exam, one exam we will take a tour through your teeth, gums, overall bite, existing restorative work, and more to pinpoint any concerning symptoms. A refreshing cleaning will also eliminate any harmful plaque and tartar that’s present. During these visits, feel free to ask us any questions you may about your current oral health or oral hygiene routine!

Night Guards

Have you ever woken up in the morning with a serious case of jaw pain or teeth that feel overly sensitive? It’s likely that you have “bruxism,” which is the fancy term for chronic teeth grinding and clenching. Teeth grinding can negatively impact patients of all ages, many of whom don’t even realize they’re victims because they only experience it while sleeping. Thankfully, a custom-made nightguard from our dental office can help protect your smile while also ensuring that you wake up without necessary discomfort!

Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is designed to “bridge” the gap left by consecutive missing teeth. This study prosthetic is anchored in place with the help of dental crowns, which attach to natural teeth on either side of the gap in question Dr Walker will take their time to ensure a proper, functional fit that looks just as natural and confident as the rest of your smile.

Dentures & Partials

For patients who have experienced extensive tooth loss, a full or partial denture can work wonders in bringing back their smile quickly and affordably. Full dentures (like the name implies) are designed to replace an entire row of teeth at once, while partials can fill in gaps left between natural teeth. Both are custom-designed to be an ideal fit for your mouth so that they can function naturally in everyday life.

Fluoride is a revitalizing mineral that’s often found in the foods we eat, countless oral hygiene products, and even most public water systems! Regular exposure to it helps strengthen tooth enamel against damaging bacteria and reduce a patient’s overall risk of cavities. During routine cleanings, our team may recommend a quick fluoride application to protect the teeth. This service can be beneficial for children and adults alike!

Tooth Colored Fillings

Despite our best efforts, it’s very likely that one or more cavities will eventually take root in younger smiles. While this is never good news, tooth-colored fillings make repairing the enamel a simple and seamless process. We’ll choose the ideal shade of composite resin that matches their smile’s color and carefully sculpt it into place so that it repairs the damage and prevents further breakage.

Root Canals

Is your tooth significantly pained or sensitive in a way that just doesn’t seem to be getting better on its own? It’s important to pay attention to these warning signs, as they could signify the presence of a serious oral infection. At Walker Family Dentistry, we offer root canal therapy as a way to relieve the discomfort and help you preserve damaged teeth. Our doctors can even provide same-day treatment in many cases! Contact us today to schedule a visit for root canal therapy.

Dental Implants

If you’re looking for a highly secure and long-lasting tooth replacement option, dental implants are the clear solution. Unlike more traditional options, implants replace the root of the tooth in addition to the visible crown. This helps preserve jawbone health while also establishing a sturdy foundation for the all-ceramic replacement. Patients undergoing this procedure will visit a trusted oral surgeon for the surgical component of their care before returning to our office for the finishing touches.
